Meet Our Hosts

ALAN KINZEL

Creator and Producer, Aspiring Philanthropist, and
A Top Realtor/Broker in San Diego county

Alan has a passion for helping people. Growing up, his father was a part-time farmer. When Alan helped his father on the weekends, unique farm values were instilled in him: First is a strong work ethic, the second is “a man’s word is his bond,” and lastly, the importance of strong community values.

When a neighbor had a problem in the farm community, everyone would stop what they were doing and rally around to help that neighbor get back on their feet. This community spirit is how Alan grew up thinking the world should be and drives his passion for helping people most in need today.

Based out of Coronado, California, Alan is one of San Diego’s top Realtors, and is highly active in the community. In 2019 Alan founded Coronado’s Talent, a community-wide event that sells out every year. Coronado’s Talent is broadcasted locally and online, raising tens of thousands for the Coronado Schools Foundation and Coronado School of the Arts.

Alan currently or previously served on four boards in the community: the Crown Town Foundation (Alan’s Foundation), Coronado Schools Foundation, Coronado SAFE, and the Stephen J Wampler Foundation.

Besides Luxury Real Estate in Coronado, Alan specializes in Residential Real Estate involving Probate, Trust, and Divorce. These are the people often most in need of a true specialist, and each of these transactions is unique and requires additional services and risk mitigation.

Alan has degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Frito-Lay hired Alan after graduation, where he worked most of his ten-year career in their global headquarters in Plano, TX. His career had a diverse trajectory, with ten jobs in ten years. He was in charge of the packaging for the Lays and Fritos brand, Midwest Grain Finance Manager, grew the Tostitos dips and salsa brand by overseeing all the manufacturing, developed the linear programming models to source potatoes that are still used today, drove all the analysis to determine the site of their latest grain facility, and completed his career with Frito-Lay writing speeches and presentations for their senior management.

Alan left Frito-Lay to start up a mortgage company that nearly went public. Alan gained years of experience in mortgage lending by owning a significant mortgage company in St. Louis. In addition, he brings a remodeling background as he bought and sold over 50 homes and founded a construction company.

Alan recently received the Coronado Schools Foundation Volunteer of the Year, the Coronado Schools Foundation Partner of the Year, the Coronado USD School Board “Board of Educations” Award, the SDAR Circle of Excellence Award, the Platinum Ellie Award, and was recognized as one of the top real estate professionals in America.

He has recently been featured in Real Producers Magazine, Real Talk San Diego, and List It Live. In December 2021, Alan was recognized as A Leader of Influence in Real Estate by the San Diego Business Journal.
